Can CoDriver replace my logbook or Work Diary?
No, you must still complete your logbook to be compliant. If electronic logbooks become part of the trucking industry, we will look at making CoDriver fit the requirements.

What PDAs does CoDriver suit?
CoDriver runs on PDAs that use the Windows Mobile 5.0 and Windows Mobile 6.0 operating systems, such as the iPaq units we offer in our shop.

I already have PDA. Can I use the CoDriver software on it?
CoDriver software only is now available for $690 inc GST. CoDriver software should run on any PDA running Windows Mobile 5.0 or Windows Mobile 6.0.

Is CoDriver guaranteed?
We make every effort to check and test our software. It has also been tested by truck drivers. If any bugs are found, we will fix them and you will automatically receive the updated version. You must complete the guarantee process for the PDA that comes from the manufacturer to activate the hardware warranty.

Will CoDriver stop me from being fined or losing demerit points?
No. CoDriver is a tool to help you manage your working and resting times. Like any tool, its effectiveness depends on how well you use it.

Does it "talk" to the computer in the truck?
No.

Can I use the PDA for other things?
Yes. However you must leave at least 30 MB free for CoDriver to operate efficiently to save your driving and resting information.

Is CoDriver easy to use?
Absolutely. Most of the time all you need to do is click one of the two task buttons (Work or Rest) with the stylus (or your finger!). CoDriver was developed in consultation with truck drivers to make sure it is easy to use.

How do I upgrade the software?
We will issue you with a new Secure Digital (SD) memory card to be inserted into the CoDriver unit and the upgrade will install. Your original SD card will need to be replaced back in the unit after the update.

I am a stock transport/bus driver. Can I use CoDriver to manage my driving time and rests?
No. CoDriver does not yet incorporate the driving schemes for stock transport or bus drivers. If you are interested in CoDriver, please Contact Us and we will let you know when those schemes have been added to CoDriver.

How do I take care of my CoDriver unit?
A PDA is a sensitive piece of equipment and like a mobile phone, you should not drop it, get it wet or leave it in direct sunlight or a hot, enclosed cabin. Also, don't let the batteries go flat. Recharge the unit when the CoDriver screen shows the low battery warning. Always use the stylus supplied and don't use a pen or pencil on the display. The display is sensitive to excessive pressure and if you break it, it's not covered by the manufacturer's warranty. For more information consult the user guide that came with your unit.

Delivery

From the date of order, allow up to 14 days for delivery of your CoDriver unit throughout Australia. CoDriver use Australia Post Registered Mail and TNT Couriers for our deliveries and insures deliveries against loss or damage in transit. A delivery fee of $40 per unit is charged.
